We are only days away from sinking our teeth into those much-loved Kumbia peaches and nectarines. The Dugdell and Francis families cannot wait to share their stone fruit with Australia this season! The fruit is the perfect size with rich vibrant colours and the flavour, well you’ll just have to try it yourself. South Burnett’s Kumbia is a quaint country town and the pub offers delicious meals and entertainment on weekends!

The Kumbia Families

The Dugdell family planted more fruit trees with over 1100 May Bright yellow nectarines so there will be extra crop this year. Delectable yellow nectarines and white peaches will be hitting fruit shops from Monday! You’ll find a list of the South-East Queensland stores on our website. A big congratulations to Matt & Libby Dugdell on their newest addition. We can’t wait to watch baby Emma grow into the Kumbia lifestyle. It’s all hands on deck as the fruit picking begins.
Moving over to the Francis family, delicious peaches and nectarines will be harvested and the good news is that there’ll be even more in 2020. The family have planted over 1000 snow angel white peach trees. More healthy snacks for everyone to enjoy!

Mulanah Gardens

A short drive out of Kingaroy on a gorgeous 160 acres is Mulanah Gardens.

With stunning views of the South Burnett the property offers quaint luxury cottages. There’s a delightful cafe on site and they host a variety of functions with a picturesque backdrop for weddings! We enjoyed our stay, thank you Lindsay and Rhonda.

Kingsley Grove Vineyard and Winery

Founded by the Berry family in 1998, Kingsley Grove Estate is a family owned and operated business. We had wine tastings offered by the lovely Jax and absolutely delighted in their Verdelho. By using the ‘Berry to bottle’ approach they aim to produce wines that reflect their Queensland regionality. Stop in for a wine tasting and try their delicious wine flavoured exotic ice creams. They’re simply moreish!

Keep an eye out from Monday as Kumbia will be coming to fruit shops through-out Queensland. If you aren’t following our Facebook and Instagram pages we suggest you change that! We have some great competitions coming your way soon!
