With under a week left of winter, we thought we’d add a little spring into our step with this refreshing Spiced Apple Iced Tea. As apple season is in full swing, we decided to create this versatile thirst quencher. Australian apple growers produce around 264,000 tonnes of apple varieties. It’s safe to say that Aussies love their apples, and we can see why. In this sensational Spiced Apple Iced Tea, I used Fuji apples, however feel free to substitute with any other sweet apples, like envy™, ambrosia or royal gala.
Hurom Cold Pressed Juicer
I absolutely love our Hurom cold pressed juicer and there are endless ways to create delicious juices. Its state-of-the-art technology makes it easy to juice the most softest and hardest of fruits and vegetables. It’s easy to clean too! This recipe was simple and quick. I used Fuji apples and that added zing with fresh ginger was absolutely divine. I brewed some organic Pukka tea, bursting with flavour. The tea mix I used produces natural warming flavours of ginger, cardamom and cinnamon.
6 Fuji apples
Small piece of fresh ginger
Pukka cardamom, cinnamon, ginger tea
- Chop apples into small pieces and add with water into ice trays and freeze.
- Brew the Pukka tea for about 20 minutes.
- Chop apples into wedges and juice apples and ginger.
- Add juice and tea into a jug and top with apple ice. Makes 2L. Enjoy!
